Washington State requires a minimum of four hours of training through a certified course to pass the test to become a licensed private investigator. The minimum training provides you with the necessary knowledge to take the test but does little to prepare you for the job assignments to come. This course gives you greater knowledge about how to fulfill private investigation assignments making you a more valuable professional to employers and clients.
Why should I take this course instead of another one?
What if I’m sick or can’t make a class?
We can hold your payment for another date.
What if I don’t pass the exam?
You will pass the exam. While a 100% score is required to pass, you may not get all the answers right.
We will help you understand the correct answers so that you achieve complete knowledge of what is required.
What do I need to bring to class?
You will need to bring a notebook, pencil, pen and lunch. You must put your notes, phone or tablet down while taking the test.
If the state only requires 4 hours of training, why 6 hours?
Four hours is the minimum. But we want you to gain as much knowledge about the industry, opportunities and methods and skills so that you can be productive from day one. This is a profession with clients, employers, budgets and expectations. We want you to be able to hit the ground running when you receive your license.
